falcon_horus: Heightmeyer's Lemming (Heightmeyer's Lemming)
[personal profile] falcon_horus
[personal profile] havocthecat did it because she was curious, I'm doing it because I can't concentrate/focus on anything at the moment...

1) The Book of Catherine Wells -- Warehouse 13, Myka Bering/Helena G. Wells, T --> 16 kudos

I wrote this in under five minutes and is the only WH13 fic I ever wrote. It has no comments only kudos and it registers as being hit 1144 times. To be perfectly honest, I'm a little peeved nobody bothers to write an actual comment and just hits kudos. So, you like it... fine... why? What made you hit the kudo-button?

2) The Honor of a Dance -- Stargate Atlantis, John Sheppard/Elizabeth Weir - Teyla Emmagan/Kate Heightmeyer - implied Katie Brown/Rodney McKay, T --> 15 kudos

Written for the Sparky Advent Calendar of 2011, which immediately explains the many kudos, I suppose, and Sparky is still one of the main ships in SGA fandom. It was just a fun little tale, and yes if I can add Kate and Teyla I will.

3) Freckles -- Legend of the Seeker, Kahlan Amnell/Cara Mason, T --> 9 kudos

Fun little tale I wrote for a challenge, and I myself love it. So do 9 others of 392 hits.

4) Aftermath -- Stargate Atlantis, implied Teyla Emmagan/John Sheppard - implied John Sheppard/Elizabeth Weir, G --> 3 kudos

It's an episode tag to The Long Goodbye (216). The implied relationships are to the same extent as they are implied in the actual episode. I took no liberties one way or another. Oh yeah, btw, Kate is in it as well. Teyla's having tea with her.

5) Apocalypse Now -- Stargate Atlantis, Kate Heightmeyer/John Sheppard, R --> 3 kudos

Written for the SG Rarepairings ficathon (unknown year), and it's a fic that I never thought I would ever write. It's dark, lots of death and violence. Suicidal thoughts and attempts... It's the only R-rated fic I have written. I generally like my fics a little lighter and happier perhaps. I can do drama but this... this is a league all on its own, one that I'm still surprised came from the deepest caves of my mind. Quite honestly, I was too afraid to post it anywhere else. I really thought I went overboard.

6) The One Where Inara Had A Date With Mal... -- Firefly, Malcolm Reynolds/Inara Serra, T --> 2 kudos

… and all went to hell in a hand basket, or you know... a pick-nick basket.

Written for the Femme Fic challenge of 2008, so it was a prompt given to me. And I had fun with it. Kaylee's cat is modelled after our own, which passed away in March of this year. Our little Mambo... immortalized in my fic.

7) Like Love -- Legend of the Seeker, Leo Dane/Cara Mason, G --> 2 kudos

It's an episode tag to Perdition (210) and it sort of gives Cara closure after Leo's death. It's very minor pairing in the fandom so I'm not surprised at the few kudos it has, or the low count of hits. Leo wasn't even in that many episodes to begin with, 3 I think.

8) Home Is Where The Heart Is -- Legend of the Seeker, Kahlan Amnell/Cara Mason, T --> 2 kudos

I love writing Cara-fics and I love her with Kahlan as friends or lovers, it doesn't matter for me. I just love writing Cara.

9) Our Last Hope -- Stargate Atlantis/Legend of the Seeker, Teyla Emmagan/Kate Heightmeyer, T --> 2 kudos

You can all thank [personal profile] havocthecat for the existence of this fusion AU between SGA and LotS. She put the idea in my head and I went with it. I actually quite like how it turned out.

10) 11 fics share this spot with 1 kudo so I can't even make it to 20...

Happy Birthday Cara! -- Legend of the Seeker, friendship, G
Mordsith don't celebrate birthdays... that was until Cara joined Richard's merry band.

Cat-e-nay-tor -- Legend of the Seeker, T
Mordsith are taught to fear two things in life, confessors and catenators. But what the heck is a catenator? Richard is about to find out.

Snowballs -- Legend of the Seeker, G
Young Richard and snow... what more do you want?

Mordsith Pride -- Legend of the Seeker, friendship, G
Mordsith are immune to pain, or so Cara would like the others to believe.

Snow -- Legend of the Seeker, G
Cara loves snow, and it shows. A rare moment in which Cara openly shows her emotions in almost childlike wonder.

Afraid of the Dark -- Legend of the Seeker, T
Cara and Dahlia as children, held in the mordsith cells in the midst of their training, holding onto one another telling themselves they're not afraid of the dark.

Slaying The Dreamer -- Stargate Atlantis, Teyla Emmagan/Kate Heightmeyer - Kate Heightmeyer/OC, T
Alternate episode tag to Doppelganger (404) in which Kate doesn't die. Written for a Little Bang ficathon.

Missing -- Stargate Atlantis, G
Teyla tries to come to terms with what happened on New Athos, with the help of a good friend (guess who?).

Caught In The Act -- Stargate Atlantis, Teyla Emmagan/Kate Heightmeyer - John Sheppard/Elizabeth Weir, G
John caught Kate and Teyla making out on the balcony which usually is reserved for him and Elizabeth, and of course he has to tell Elizabeth all about it.

Musings Of A Bed In The Infirmary -- Stargate SG1, G
Inanimate object musing in the infirmary, in this case SG1's beds. It's one of the first fics I ever wrote, and not something that I'll do again in the near future or distant, unless it's crack.

Romeo & Juliette -- Torchwood, Jack Harckness/Ianto Jones, G
The only Torchwood fic I ever wrote. They were so cute together, I just wanted to capture that.

I sincerely hope kudos aren't a form of popularity cause then I don't think I'm very popular as an author. =P
